1. (SBU) On July 24, Paul Essel, Supervising Director for
Multilateral, Passport, and Legal Affairs at the MFA, told
poloff that the GOG has not yet decided on its delegation to
the 62nd UN General Assembly. However, Essel did say that he
is "almost certain" President Kufuor will attend given the
fact that he has attended several General Assemblies in the
past. He added that the Foreign Minister would likely
accompany the President and that he would update us once the
delegation has been finalized.
