1. (U) This cable contains an action request.
2. (U) On February 18, Post received a diplomatic note from the
Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Abu Dhabi inquiring about the
legitimacy of the Philadelphia Hurricane Rebuilding Committee
(Committee). The Kenyan Embassy reports that several Kenyans
residing in the UAE have been offered jobs by the Committee and wants
to know if the offers are legitimate. Post conducted an internet
search, but could not find any mention of the Committee.
3. (U) Action request: Please advise Post if the there is any
information about the Philadelphia Hurricane Rebuilding Committee
that we can share with the Kenyan Embassy.
