1. (SBU) Poloff delivered ref demarche and Diplomatic
Note to Ranko Vilovic at the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs and European Integration - Department for the
United Nations on August 25th, 2006. Vilovic noted that
the Government of Croatia has not officially endorsed
any candidate for re-election to the International Law
Commission. He did, however, informally indicate that
the GOC was likely to support the candidacy.
