3 to Mieczyslaw Kuzinski, action officer for Security Threats
and Eurasian Conflicts in the MFA Security Policy Department.
Kuzinski stated that the GOP agreed wholeheartedly with the
U.S. position that the resolution of the status of Kosovo
should not serve in any way as a precedent for resolving the
"frozen conflicts."
2. (C) Kuzinski commented that it was important to reinforce
this message, as "the Russians have been making more and more
suggestions" about just such a precedent.
