(S) Political Counselor delivered reftel demarche May 24 to
MFA International Offices Director Saleumsai Kommasith.
Saleumsai, who was not attending the NAM, responded that the
Lao government was "very concerned" about the situation
regarding Iran's nuclear activities, but said his government
was "still considering" its position on the issue. He
promised to convey our talking points to the Minister, who
would be traveling to the Ministerial over the weekend.
