(S) On December 22, acting EconUnit Chief delivered reftel
talking points, background paper, and names to Elisabeth
Ottawa from the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing
department of the Ministry of Finance. Ottawa said she will
distribute the information immediately, on a close-hold
basis, to the appropriate authorities in the Ministry of
Interior, Financial Markets Authority, and the Austrian
National Bank. She promised to contact us, should the GoA
have any questions or concerns regarding the USG,s plans to
submit the names to the UN 1267 Sanctions Committee.
