3 to Dorothea Auer, the Austrian MFA's assistant
secretary-level non-proliferation director. Auer undertook

Austrian government.
2. (C) Auer expressed appreciation for the information on
the Korea Mining Development Trading Corporation (KOMID).
She said she was unaware of any Austrian dealings with KOMID
or its subsidiaries. She said Austria agreed with U.S. views
on the need for strict enforcement of UNSCR 1718. She was
already familiar with the terms of the resolution and with
the UN Register on Conventional Arms Definitions.
