1. (S) On December 22, we met with Helmut Krehlik, Head of
the Ministry of Economy's Export-Import Control Division,
to request verification that the Austrian firm Geislinger
GmbH was the end-user for the export of a filament winding
machine from the Macedonian firm Mikrosam. Krehlik told
Econ Unit Chief January 13 that he had spoken with the
Sales Director of Geislinger, Mr. Aminger, on January 2.
Aminger, according to Krehlik, verified that Geislinger was
the end-user and that it would not re-transfer or re-export
the filament winding machine.
