¶1. As instructed reftel, USUN joined consensus on the draft
resolution to extend the term of an ICTY judge to enable him
to complete the Krajisnik trial. The draft was adopted
(15-0-0) as SC resolution 1668.
¶2. After the vote, the Russian Federation stated that they
had joined consensus but wanted to note that this is the
second time that it had been necessary to extend the term of
the judge. The Russian DPR Rogachev said this was proof of
the insufficiently satisfactory organization of the work of
the Tribunal. He was the only speaker.
