1. (U) The United Nations General Assembly Second Committee
(Economic and Financial Affairs) adopted three resolutions by
consensus on November 7. Prior to adoption, the Committee
Chair read out a statement that there were no program budget
implications (PBIs) associated with these resolutions. The
resolutions adopted were as follows:

A/C.2/61/L.11/Rev.1 (draft resolution submitted by Armenia et
al. with U.S. and other co-sponsors under agenda item 55(e))
-- Integration of the economies in transition into the world
economy. Adopted by consensus (Ref A).

A/C.2/61/L.9/Rev.1 (draft resolution submitted by Liberia
with U.S. and other co-sponsors under agenda item 69(b),
special economic assistance to individual countries or
regions) -- Humanitarian assistance and reconstruction of
Liberia. Adopted by consensus (Ref B).

A/C.2/61/L.4/Rev.1 (draft resolution submitted by Argentina
under agenda item 69(c)) -- Participation of volunteers,
"White Helmets", in the activities of the United Nations in
the field of humanitarian relief, rehabilitation and
technical cooperation for development. Adopted by consensus
(Ref C).
