FOR CAPITAL MASTER PLAN
¶1. USUN has emailed to Department (IO/S-David Leis and
IO/EX/OB-Alice Green) a copy of a note from the
Secretary-General, dated July 31, 2006, requesting payment of
SIPDIS
additional U.S. assessed contribution to the UN Capital
Master Plan (CMP) for 2006 in the amount of $16,940,000. The
note also refers to outstanding payments in the amount of
$5,170,000 with respect to the CMP for prior assessments.
The bank account to which payment may be made is contained in
the note.
¶2. Action requested: Department is requested to facilitate
payment as noted above in paragraph 1.
