Principal Deputy Director Nomura, Poloff delivered points ref
A concerning the activities of USNS Victorious in waters
north of the Senkaku islands and her interaction with PRC
vessels.
2. (C) Nomura said MOFA was "glad" to hear that Victorious
had not been operating in coordination with Chinese vessels.
He noted that MOFA's demarche to Beijing inquiring about the
activities of the PRC vessels had been met with no response.
