(SBU) Per Reftel C, we approached Saimir Repishti, Chief of
the UN Section at the MFA, to re-confirm Albania's support
for Professor Ruth Wedgwood to serve on the United Nations
Human Rights Committee (HRC). Repishti confirmed that
Albania continued to support Wedgwood for re-election and
would vote for her September 7.
