1. (C) The Dutch MFA has issued instructions to its
ambassadors in African Union PSC countries, plus a few key
others, to demarche host country officials on the urgent need
for an AU rehat request. The instructions mirror reftel
talking points.
2. (C) POLOFF delivered reftel demarche March 7 to MFA Sudan
Task Force advisor Sjord Sjordsma, who said the only
difference in the U.S. and GONL approach is that high
officials in The Hague, such as the Foreign Minister, do not
plan to make additional phone calls at this time.
