Task Force officer Sjoerd Sjoerdsma and followed up October
17 and 18 with Task Force head Huub Buise. Dutch policy has
been to route contributions through the Common Humanitarian
Trust Fund for Sudan. However, Buise promised to explore
this and the related question of total funding amounts. As
of COB October 18, because of his office's heavy involvement
in ongoing parliamentary budget debates, he had no additional
information.
