1. (SBU) Poloff delivered reftel demarche July 25 to UN and
IFIs Legal and Political Division Head Pieter van der Vliet.
Foreign Minister Bot plans to attend the UNGA and will be
accompanied by Mr. Kees Rade (Director of the MFA's UN and
IFIs Department). They will likely be joined by MFA
Director General for Political Affairs (P equivalent) Pieter
de Gooijer or Deputy Director General for Political Affairs
Wim Geerts.
2. (SBU) The party will travel together, without wives.
They currently plan to arrive September 19 and depart
September 29. Arrival and departure point is New York, and
no additional travel within the U.S. is planned. The dates
of travel may change, depending on the dates of speaking
events.
3. (SBU) Development Minister van Ardenne may also travel to
New York, but her plans are not yet known, according to v/d
Vliet.
