Moryczinski, the deputy senior advisor to UNIFIL's military
commander, said that UNIFIL is in the preliminary stages of
opening its office in Tel Aviv. Personnel have been
designated, but the office is not yet functional, and has not
been assigned a telephone number. (NOTE: Moryczinski did
not identify exactly where the office would be, and appeared
hesitant to go into any further details. END NOTE.)
Moryczinski confirmed that UNIFIL has also opened a "liaison
mechanism" with the IDF that is located in northern Israel.
