(U) On August 24 Poloff delivered reftel points and
Dip Note to Minna-Liina Lind, Acting MFA Director for
International Organizations and Regional Cooperation
Division, to seek support for Michael Matheson's re-
election to the International Law Commission. Lind
stressed that Estonia has received a number of
demarches from other Embassies for other candidates,
but that at this moment it has not yet made a decision
on whom to support. Estonia will make its decision by
the end of October.
