(U) On January 8 Poloff delivered reftel points to Acting MFA
Director for Asian Affairs, Inga Poldma, calling on the GOE
to renew its efforts to support a ceasefire in Sri Lanka.
Poldma said that the GOE is fully behind the EU's plan to
deliver a demarche conveying its concerns about the
increasing violence and calling on the Government of Sri
Lanka and the LTTE to bring an end to the violence.
