(SBU) Kamen Velitchkov at the MFA's UN Directorate informed us on July 26 that Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivailo Kalfin will be the highest ranking member of the Bulgarian government attending the 61st UN General Assembly general debate in September. Kalfin will head a delegation consisting of deputy ministers and ambassadors, but these individuals have not yet been selected. The dates of the Minister's trip have also not yet been determined. Post will provide updates as more information becomes available regarding the GOB's delegation. ¶2. (SBU) Interim report on planned attendance: ¶A.
