CENTCOM CONFERENCE ON IRAQ

1. (U) P/E Chief delivered reftel invitation to participate
in the October 3-5 CENTCOM-sponsored Iraq Coalition
Conference in Warsaw to MFA State Secretary Igor Ilievski on
September 21. Ilievski confirmed on September 26 that he
would attend the Conference, together with Brigadier General
Zoran Dimov from the Ministry of Defense.
2. (SBU) Ilievski is the third-ranking official in the MFA,
following the Foreign Minister and Deputy FM. A fluent
English and Polish speaker, he is a graduate of Warsaw
University (M.A., 2002) and the Warsaw Diplomatic Academy
(2004).
