¶1. (SBU) Poloff delivered reftel points, resolution text, and
the Secretary's statement to MFA State Counselor Milan
Spirodonovski on August 12. Spirodonovski welcomed the
information and expects full support from the GOM for this
initiative.
¶2. (C) Spirodonovski informed Poloff that GOM representatives
in Egypt and Qatar had been approached by host governments to
condemn Israel's actions as excessive use of force. MFA
officials refused to issue such statements.
MILOVANOVIC
