(U) Poloff delivered reftel points to MFA Head of the U.S.
Department Slobodan Tasovski on July 11. Tasovski said that
the GOM fully supports the U.S. position and had joined the
July 5 EU statement, as an EU candidate country, "to strongly
condemn the provocative missile test-launches performed by
the government of the DPRK." Tasovski said he would confirm
with the Ministry of Defense that there is no Macedonian
trade with North Korea in military or dual-use goods or
services. (NOTE: Macedonia recognizes DPRK and not South
Korea, nevertheless Macedonia has little to no interaction
with DPRK. END NOTE)
