(U) EconAsst delivered reftel points on Doha Round
Negotiations to Illir Sabani, Deputy Head of Trade and WTO
Department at the Ministry of Economy (MOE) and to Zivko
Brajkovski, Head of International and WTO Department at the
Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) on June 28. Illir did not have
an official response; however, the GOM usually adheres to the
EU position on WTO issues and we suspect will do the same in
this case. Illir said no one from the MOE will attend
meetings in Geneva this week on Doha round negotiations. We
received no information from Brajkovski on MOA attendees.
