DHS/ICE databases revealed no negative information about SATS Security Services. ¶4. SATS Security Services (SSS) is a subsidiary of Singapore Airport Terminal Services, which is a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, Singapore's national carrier. SSS provides armed security services to approximately 40 airlines at Changi International Airport, according to Jasmie Ong, SSS's Head of Manpower, Administration, and Logistics. The Singapore Police Force (SPF) reported that it has a close relationship with SSS; a SPF Superintendent is seconded to SSS as Commandant of its Auxiliary Police Force. ¶5. Singapore Customs confirmed that SSS was issued a valid import certificate for .38 caliber ammunition on June 15, ¶2006. SSS's Ong stated that all ammunition is stored at a guarded facility near the airport.
