(U) On July 27, poloff delivered reftel text to Youn Jong
Kwon, First Secretary of the Disarmament and Nonproliferation
Division, ROK Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade (MOFAT).
In a brief preliminary response, Lee expressed gratitude for
the information and undertook to share the U.S. proposal on
Chemical Abstract Service (CAS) numbers with relevant
offices. Youn's office will contact the Embassy after the ROK
representatives to the Technical Experts Meeting (TEM) have
an opportunity to review the U.S. proposal.
