On October 5, Embassy delivered reftel demarche to Svetozar
Miletic, Chief of the Division for Peace and Security in the
BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Militic noted that Bosnia
signed the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty (CTBT) in
1996. Miletic said that North Korea did not have a
diplomatic presence in Bosnia. Relations were maintained
through the North Korean Embassy in Sofia. Nevertheless,
Bosnia would do all it could to support international efforts
to stop nuclear weapons proliferation.
