1. In connection with U.S. military training planned for the
Commando Squad of the Dominican Navy, EcoPol section advises
that it has no repeat no information of any allegations of
violations of human rights by the 64-man squad or by its
commander, Naval Capt. Nelson A. ROQUE GARCIA.
2. Embassy Santo Domingo requests that Department advise of
any holdings of adverse information concerning the unit or
its commander. Pls slug reply for ECOPOL and MAAG.
