(SBU) On Nov. 1, Poloff delivered reftel demarche to Milton
Magana, Director for Asian Affairs at the MFA. Following
consultations with various ministries, he replied that the
GOES has never had a relationship with the Korea Mining
Development Trading Corporation. He expressed continued
support for USG initiatives on North Korea, and said the GOES
is very pleased to see the Six Party Talks will resume.
