(U) Econoff forwarded reftel points December 11 to the MFA
Office of G8 and Global Affairs and the Ministry of Finance
Financial Crimes Prevention Office. Econoff followed up on
reftel points with a visit to Giampaolo Cantini, Director of
the Office of G8 and Global Affairs, December 28. Cantini
stated that the GOI Financial Security Committee (FSC) would
research the individuals listed in reftel points and inform
the Embassy, if the GOI had any concerns or questions.
