1. (U) This is an action request. Please see para 4.
2. (SBU) The presumed GOI lead for ACTA, Fabrizio Pagani,
Chief of Staff to the Undersecretary to the Prime Minister,
has asked whether there will be an ACTA "launch" session in
January. He has also asked whether Washington agencies have
responded to his concerns we conveyed in ref A.
3. (SBU) COMMENT: Although GOI officials expressed
reservations about ACTA in our initial demarche to them,
Pagani's follow-up call signals GOI interest. END COMMENT.
