(SBU) Per reftel, Poloff met April 13 with Abdelatif Sadafi,
MFA Legal Affairs Division officer, to deliver diplomatic
note #111 providing clarification concerning a forthcoming
large high explosive experiment at the U.S. Nevada test site.
Sadafi thanked poloff for the embassy's transparency on this
issue and promised to pass the diplomatic note to the
appropriate authorities at the National Center for Scientific
and Technical Research (CNRST). He pledged to relay to
poloff any questions or concerns from CNRST. Post will
report any reaction septel.
