1. (U) In an October 2 meeting with MFA Director for
Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Affairs Azzeddin Farhane,
Poloffs urged the GOM to support the final draft of the
report of the 2004 Panel as the basis for the 2007 Panel's
work, and passed the non-paper conveyed reftel. Farhane
thanked poloffs for the information and pledged to convey our
views to concerned GOM officials, including Lofti Bouchaara,
Morocco's representative on the 2004 Panel. Embassy will
report any substantive responses septel.
