(SBU) PolOff delivered the points in reftels on the UN Cuba
Embargo Resolution to MFA Director General for Multilateral
Affairs Lourdes Puma at 9 am on November 8. Puma told us the
GOE would follow its long-standing policy of voting in favor
of the Cuba embargo resolution. She declined to comment on
the GOE position on the Australia amendment.
