Czech Ministry of Finance Department of Financial Analysis
(the Czech FIU) Director Karel Korynta confirmed that the
Czech Republic does not/not maintain its own list of
terrorist entities subject to sanctions. According to a new
law on International Sanctions passed in 2006, the Czechs
enforce punitive sanctions on subjects as defined or named by
the Sanctions Committee of the United Nations Security
Council. The Czechs will also impose sanction on entities
listed by the European Union.
