Ambassador Sanderson will travel to the Northern and
Northeast Departments of Haiti on Wednesday, October 18
through Friday, October 20. This travel provides a unique
opportunity for coastline and north island Ile de la Tortue
familiarization on aircraft normally used for conducting
Alien Migrant Interdiction Operations (AMIO) and counter-drug
missions in this region. Post requests U.S. Coast Guard
(USCG) aviation asset for travel assistance within Haiti.
