De Longevialle responded that the French government planned for Mr. Yann Poincignon, the Ministry's liaison with CEA, to participate in the conference. Additionally, he recalled that in July 2005, following the French-hosted conference in Bordeaux on radioactive sources, the GOF had "made preliminary contact" with Dr. Mousa Al Atia, President of the Iraqi authority with control over radioactive sources.
