Per reftel, on June 26 Econ Officer delivered demarche to
the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,
Ambassador Boekstaaf and to Nalinie Sewpersadsingh of the
Division of International Organizations. Per Ms.
Sewpersadsingh, the GOS does not have a representative
attending the meetings in Geneva but took the points under
consideration and will forward them to their mission in
Brussels and to the Ministry of Trade. Post also attempted
contacting the Minister of Trade and Permanent Secretary of
Trade but learned that both are traveling and will not be
available to attend WTO meeting in Geneva.
