(U) On June 14, per reftel request, we delivered talking
points on USDA APHIS importation regulations to Ministry of
Agriculture Deputy Director General, Department of Food
Policy, Guri Tveito. Tveito offered no immediate comment,
but said that she would forward the information and
invitation to attend the June 20 meeting in Washington to
appropriate parties in the Ministry. Post will inform the
Department of any further substantive response.
