Jorg Willy Bronebakk, who had seen the Secretary's statement
and very much welcomed our initiative. Bronebakk added that
it was important to continue to apply pressure on Iran. He
hoped that Iran would respond positively to our latest
effort. When asked if Norway would be putting out a public
statement, Bronebakk said that Foreign Minister Stoere (who
was traveling) indeed planned to make a supportive statement
on June
