Bronebakk on Iran's candidacy for the UN Human Rights Council
(HRC). Bronebakk was clear that Norway would not/not support
Iran's candidacy, adding that Norway is against any "bad
characters" getting on the HRC. However, Bronebakk told us
that Norway would not make its decision public in advance,
citing Norway's long-standing policy not to publicly announce
its positions before a vote.
