(SBU) On April 26 we delivered reftel points to Martine Scheie, Higher Executive Officer in the MFA's Legal Department, Section for International Humanitarian and Criminal Law. Scheie noted Norway's long-standing support of the Third Protocol. She stated that Norway will continue to work closely with the Norwegian Red Cross to effectuate the amendment of the Innternational Red Cross/Crescent Movement statutes (creating the Red Crystal),and support votes by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies to admit the Magen David Adom.
