1. (C) Summary: The Beirut Air Bridge (BAB) continues to
transport U.S.-assisted arrivals to Cyprus from Lebanon. Post
has returned to mostly normal operations.
CONSULAR
2. (C) The current total headcount of U.S.-assisted
arrivals from Lebanon is 13,599. CONS is grateful for the
CONS and DHS TDY support it has received in working through
its backlog of cases.
PUBLIC AFFAIRS
3. (U) Denied and/or pending parole cases received some press
coverage over the weekend.
MANAGMENT
4. (U) GSO continues to work on identifying and returning
baggage left behind by U.S.-assisted arrivals at the Cyprus
International Fairgrounds.

5. (U) USAID reports a congestion of NGO workers looking
for transport to Lebanon from the Larnaca seaport.
