(C) Action Request: Finance Ministry interlocutors often ask us whether the USG has obtained any information on terrorist asset freezes/seizures which we could share with them. Please provide examples we can share with the GOI of information we glean from USG terror finance freezes/seizures. ¶4. (C) The GOI has expressed interest in having the USG show them how feedback on freezing and seizing terrorist finances should look, such as: reporting format, information to include, and modalities of sharing. Sharing of USG information -- even if it were dated or if it were not related to South Asian terrorist groups -- may help encourage GOI officials to provide feedback on their own insights. ¶5.
