(C) Per reftel, below are responses to questions on host country's terrorist information exchange programs: ¶A. Immigration Databases: Chad does not have computerized immigration databases. ¶B. Watchlist and Information Sharing: There is a name-based watchlist used to screen travelers at POEs. Domestic sources of information include local security services, as well as third country intelligence services. International watchlists used by the host government include Interpol and United Nations watchlists. Post is not aware of any specific bilateral or multilateral watchlist agreements that Chad has signed. ¶C. Biometrics: Biometrics systems are not in place at POEs. The host government has not indicated any plans to install biometrics systems. Chad does issue a machine-readable passport that conforms to the regulations of the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC). ¶D. Identifying Appropriate Partners: Post believes that host government would be an appropriate partner in data sharing initiatives on combating international terrorism. WALL
