On August 11, Post received a hardcopy of the July 26 agreement signed by the Government of Chad and the Government of Sudan. Below is a translation of the relevant points of the agreement: ¶2. (BEGIN TRANSLATION) The two parties agree to interdict the use of their respective territories for hostile activities against the sovereignty and the territorial integrity of the other; The two parties agree to interdict the presence and hosting of rebel elements in their respective territories.
