On May 23, Sergey Sergeev of the MFA's America's Desk informed DCM
that Belarus supports U.S. candidacy for the ITU Council. He
stressed that the GOB would not provide any formal, written
notification of this support, but said he was told by his superiors
to verbally convey this support to DCM.
