(SBU) On May 5 emboff delivered reftel talking points to
Faruque Faquira, Head of Department, Directorate for
International Organizations and Conferences, at the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs. Faquira stated that the GRM's mission in
Geneva was engaged on this issue, and that he did not foresee
a change in its favorable position on the adoption of the
Third Additional Protocol and its revised statutes. He added
that he expected Mozambique's Ambassador in Geneva to attend
the June 20 - 21 International Conference, though he could
not yet confirm her participation.
