¶1. (U) This is an Action Request.
¶2. (SBU) Action Request: In reftel Post asked for Department
guidance on how to respond to a written request for
information from the GRM's Central Office for the Combat of
Corruption, a department in the Attorney General's Office.
The request was for information about Ali Mohamed Yohfoufi,
a Lebanese national who is allegedly a U.S. citizen (still
unconfirmed but strongly suspected),and linked to an
ongoing investigation into alleged money laundering and
fraud. Post would appreciate guidance from L and CA on how
to respond to GRM request.
