On November 17 emboff again raised Michael Matheson's re-
election to the International Law Commission with, Faruque
Faquira, Head of the United Nations Department, Directorate
of the International Conferences and Organizations at the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Emboff asked if Mozambique had
taken a position on Mr. Matheson's re-election and was
informed that Faquira's Department had recommended that
Mozambique support the candidacy.
